Finn's Skal

Given a break in the summer conference season with a critical mass of Finn Kydland's former students marooned in Europe, we decided at LAEF to host a surprise party for Finn, bringing all of his former students together! We were very grateful for the generous offer from IE Business School to allow us to use their facilities. We called the conference "Finn's Skal" because in Norwegian a "Skal" is a toast one gives to another deserving individual as praise for their accomplishments, courtesy, and various efforts. This was our "Skal" to Finn from all of his former students.
