Conference: December 4 - 5, 2026

We are pleased to announce the 2nd LAEF-HKU Joint Conference on Growth and Inequality, which will take place at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) on December 4–5, 2026. The conference is jointly organized by the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Hong Kong and the Laboratory for Aggregate Economics and Finance (LAEF) at UCSB. The aim of the workshop is to provide researchers interested in growth and inequality with a forum to present and discuss research that advances both theoretical and empirical understanding in these areas. 

Call for Papers: An open call for paper submissions is available via Conference Maker. Successful applicants will receive economy-class airfare to Hong Kong as well as up to three hotel nights compensated by the organizers. Submissions can be made here: https://editorialexpress.com/conference/LAEF_HKU. The submission deadline is August 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. US EDT.
